Inspect the item you received

  1. Before installation, it's essential to inspect the sun shade and ensure all the necessary accessories are included in the package ( Quantity based on actual situation) .
  2. Check the Shapes: Hold up the sun shade to the window frame to ensure it is correctly aligned and fits the dimensions of your window.

Installation Steps

  • Determine Window Frame Type:
Confirm whether your car's window frame is metal window frames or vinyl trims window frames. This will dictate the installation method you will follow.
  • Metal Window Frame:
Use the clips provided in the package to install the sun shade directly on the window frame. Secure the clips to hold the sun shade in place.
  • Vinyl Trims Window Frames
  1. Identify where the magnetic mounts need. DO NOT peel off the plastic backing of the adhesive tape.
  2. Confirm the position of mounting clips. Place the shade back on the window frame to locate where is the correct installation position
  3. Stick the magnetic mounts to the window frame in the position you have just confirmed. Clean the area on the car window frame where the sun shade will be installed to ensure proper adhesion.
Remove the adhesive backing from the magnetic mounts and carefully install them onto the car window frame, ensuring a firm attachment. Each shade needs to be fixed with 2-4 magnetic mounts, depending on the size and shape of the shade.
  4. Attach the shade onto the clips. Leave a gap of 5mm from the window glass so as not to interfere with the window lift. Then shake it slightly to ensure that it is securely fitted.
  5. Repeat the steps for the others.

Tips:

If the clips are incorrectly positioned, simply heat the tape with a hair dryer then it can be removed without leaving any traces of glue
