What are the requirements for installing roof racks on my vehicle?

To install 4 wheel drive roof racks, your vehicle should have pre-installed rails, which can be either flush or raised.

How can I distinguish between flush and raised roof rails?

Flush Rails: These rails sit directly against the roof of the car without any gap. You cannot slide your fingers underneath them.
Raised Rails: These rails are elevated, creating a gap between the rail and the roof surface. You can slide your fingers underneath them.

What if my vehicle model isn't listed on your website?

If your vehicle isn't listed, don't worry. Our universal roof racks with cross bars come in various sizes to fit most vehicles. Please send photos of your roof rails and the distance between them to our customer support team, and we'll help you find the right fit.

How do I install the AUSGO racks?

AUSGO 4WD roof racks are designed for easy installation. For detailed instructions, please refer to our installation guide. If you're not sure about the process, please contact our customer support team.

Do AUSGO roof racks come with locks?

Yes, AUSGO rack bars are equipped with locking mechanisms to ensure security and prevent theft.

What is the weight capacity of the roof racks?

Each AUSGO 4WD cross bar can support up to 80 kg. However, always consult your vehicle's manual to ensure the individual vehicle's load capacity is not exceeded.

Are AUSGO roof racks compatible with other accessories?

Yes, our roof racks are compatible with a wide range of accessories, including bike racks, cargo boxes, and kayak carriers. Choose from our range of bike roof racks or kayak roof racks before you go on your next adventure.

What should I do if I experience wind noise after installing the roof racks?

Wind noise can occur with roof racks. AUSGO roof racks’ unique design reduces the wind noise. To minimise it:

Ensure Proper Installation: Make sure all components are securely tightened and correctly positioned.
Use Wind Fairings: Installing wind fairings can help redirect airflow and reduce noise.
Remove When Not in Use: If the noise persists, consider removing the roof racks when they're not needed.
