How to Install Boot Liner| Easy Step-by-Step Guide

The trunk is one of the most frequently used areas of your vehicle, often exposed to dirt, water, tools, groceries, and other items that may cause stains, scratches, or wear. Installing a boot liner provides effective protection for your vehicle’s interior, preventing spills and damage while making cleaning and maintenance much easier

This installation guide includes two methods.

  • Single-Piece Boot Liner
  • 3-Piece Boot Liner

Please follow the steps corresponding to the version you purchased.

Part A: Single-Piece Boot Liner Installation Steps

Step 1: Unpack the Trunk Mat

  • Take the trunk mat out of its packaging and gently unfold it.
  • Test-fit the liner in the cargo space to ensure correct fitment before moving on.

Step 2: Clean the Trunk

Before installation, remove all items from the trunk. Thoroughly clean out dust, dirt, and debris to ensure a snug fit and to prevent the mat from shifting.

Step 3: Place the Trunk Mat

  • Lay the mat along the edges of the trunk, pressing down lightly on the corners and edges to ensure proper fit against the bottom and sides.
  • If there are creases or curling from transportation, put the mat flat under sunlight for several hours or use a hair dryer on low heat to gently soften it and restore its original shape.

Notes

  • Some trunk mats are specifically designed for either the upper or lower trunk area. Please check the product description or packaging to confirm correct placement before installation.
  • If you encounter any issues or have questions, please contact us for assistance.

Part B: 3-Piece Boot Liner Installation Steps

Step 1: Check the Contents

  • Verify that you have received all three pieces: two smaller liners for the back of the rear seats and one large liner for the cargo area.

Step 3: Install the Seat-Back Liners

  • Confirm the correct left–right orientation before installation.
  • Velcro strips are pre-installed on the back of each liner. Press the liners firmly onto the back of the rear seats to secure them in place.

Step 4: Install the Large Cargo Liner

  • Place the large liner directly into the cargo area. No Velcro is required—its design allows it to stay firmly in place.
  • If creases or curling are present from packaging, lay the liner flat under sunlight for a few hours or gently warm it with a hair dryer on low heat to help it regain its original shape.
